Women played a significant role in the Canadian Military war effort. Their contributions have largely been kept low key, taking from them the reward due them for their bravery, endurance and sacrifice. In some small way I would like to honour their contributions taking their light from under the bushel for all to acknowledge. Their stories, their roles and sacrifice are printed here for your enlightenment.
